01Copilot in Loop has been reduced for nowVerified
Microsoft removed some Copilot integrations from Loop to align with Copilot Pages. Copilot in Loop currently uses only web or enterprise search and cannot answer about the open page or workspace, or update the page.
- Open a Loop page
- Use the Copilot button (upper right) for the reduced chat
- To work with page content, use Copilot Chat with Copilot Pages
(Web/enterprise search example) Where is the latest promotional review SOP on our intranet?
The FAQ was last updated Nov 3, 2025. Whether features returned in 2026 is not confirmed in public docs; check the current UI before publishing steps.

We recently removed some Copilot integrations from the Loop app in preparation to synchronize the experience with Microsoft Copilot Pages experience. The differences were leading to user confusion.
02Insert a Copilot answer into a Loop pageVerified
Licensed users can ask Copilot Chat in Loop about web or enterprise data and use Insert to put the answer on the page. It cannot update the page directly.
- Select the Copilot button (upper right)
- Ask about web or enterprise data
- Review and select Insert
- Edit the inserted text on the page
Summarize in three points our internal guideline rules on comparative claims, with the source file name.
Collaborators without a license do not see the Copilot entry point. Inserted content is visible to all editors; check source and accuracy first. Output can be wrong. Check it against the original email, notes, or transcript before use.

Currently, Copilot in Loop is only aware of web or enterprise search results, and cannot be used to ask about the Loop Workspace, or to make updates to the currently-open Page.
03Share page changes with RecapVerified
Use Recap on a Loop page to summarize your changes and @mention teammates. With a Copilot license, Copilot can capture and summarize your updates.
- Edit the Loop page
- Select the three dots next to Share > Recap
- Select Create new recap
- Summarize (or let Copilot summarize, if licensed) and @mention teammates
(If licensed) Summarize the changes I made on this page today in three lines.
Copilot may miss some changes. For revision records, rely on version history or your review system, not the recap.

Recap in Loop helps you keep track of changes when you collaborate. You can summarize changes to avoid confusion, misunderstanding, or duplicate work.
04Draft with the '/' Copilot menu (Create, Brainstorm)Needs check
The Welcome page describes typing '/' in Loop to open a Copilot menu (Create, Brainstorm, Blueprint, Describe). The FAQ says some Copilot integrations were removed, so whether this menu still exists is unconfirmed.
- Open or create a workspace
- Type / to show the Copilot menu (if absent, it has been removed)
- Choose Create, Brainstorm, Blueprint, or Describe
- Edit and refine tone or format
Blueprint: prep steps for an internal online training session (1 speaker, 30 attendees), as bullets.
Needs verification: the Welcome page (undated) and the FAQ (updated Nov 3, 2025: some Copilot integrations removed) conflict. Check the live Loop UI for the '/' menu before publishing.
