Microsoft Copilot Advanced — apps × Python

Know-how that uses code, APIs and automation is in the advanced edition: combining Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint with Python, an end-to-end manual from idea to operation, choosing where code runs, and handling sign-in and permissions (16 pages, 98 tips). Screen operations stay in this practical edition; code goes in the advanced one.

How this section is made

Sources are Microsoft Support (support.microsoft.com), Microsoft Learn (learn.microsoft.com), the Microsoft 365 Blog, the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and the Copilot Studio blog, plus official Anthropic and OpenAI documentation for models. Search-engine result pages are not used.

New information is collected automatically every day and turned into candidate tips. A machine check confirms that the supporting passage exists in the source, that numbers appear in the source, that there is no exaggeration or claim of regulatory compliance, and that the tip is not a duplicate. Only candidates that pass are published. Once a week, published tips are re-checked against a fresh copy of the source; if the passage is gone, the tip is switched to "Needs check".

This section is not official product documentation.
