Insurers see themselves as AI leaders, but transformation gaps remain, KPMG research finds
44% of surveyed insurance executives place their organizations in the top quartile for AI transformation, yet functional redesign remains rare. 71% mainly use AI for content generation or routine task automation, and nearly half of AI budgets go to operational and back-office efficiency. Only 11% have a very clear view of AI return on investment.
