Tangermeme: a toolkit for understanding cis-regulatory logic using deep learning models
Deep learning models can predict genomic data well, but the harder step is using them for biological discovery. This paper describes tangermeme, a highly optimized toolkit for the parts of genomic deep learning other than the model itself. It shows how tangermeme can distill the cis-regulatory patterns learned by models into human-interpretable insights.
