VERDICT: Multi-Agent Parallel Modular Verification
VERDICT tackles specification synthesis and dependency constraints in modular software verification by assigning an agent to each function. Agents work in parallel using assumed contracts for called functions, then reconcile conflicts by propagating revisions in both directions through the call graph. On real-world C programs, it produced higher-quality specifications faster than existing approaches and ruled out nearly all potential runtime errors in a complete 20,000-line X.509 parser within hours.
