Partnering with Mozilla on Firefox security
In a collaboration with Mozilla, Claude Opus 4.6 searched Firefox for security vulnerabilities and found 22 in two weeks, including 14 that Mozilla rated as high severity. Proofs of concept and candidate patches were provided, and Mozilla shipped fixes in Firefox 148.0.
