Stable charged energy and phase transitions in an anisotropic Dicke quantum battery with Kerr nonlinearity

Phase transitions in quantum many-body systems offer a powerful route to tune quantum batteries, and this work examines their role in the charging of an anisotropic Dicke quantum battery with Kerr nonlinearity. The Kerr term reshapes the cavity level spacing, producing multiple near-degeneracies at specific nonlinearity strengths; outside this region the stable stored energy is governed by the ergodic-nonergodic transition, while inside it is controlled by first- and second-order dissipative phase transitions. Charging optimized with reinforcement learning reveals the mechanism behind the performance gain from ergodic and nonergodic phase dynamics, pointing to a feasible way to manipulate quantum battery performance through intrinsic phase-transition behavior.
