A blueprint for building national compute capacity for artificial intelligence - OECD.AI
No country today has data on, or a targeted plan for, national AI compute capacity. This report provides the first blueprint for policymakers to assess and plan for it along three dimensions: capacity, effectiveness, and resilience. It also defines AI compute, reviews indicators and datasets for measuring it, and identifies obstacles to benchmarking across countries.
