SynthID Bio: Watermarking methods for synthetic biology
SynthID Bio is a family of watermarking methods built for synthetic biology to strengthen biosecurity and scientific integrity. It adjusts amino acid choices in sequences and atomic coordinates in predicted 3D structures to create a detectable signal. In experiments, these adjustments did not affect the proteins' biological function.
