Missed a lecture? This AI agent at Bar-Ilan University helps students catch up
Bar-Ilan University piloted an AI agent on its Moodle learning platform in February, helping students search and summarize course materials through natural language queries. Built on Azure AI Services, the agent answers only from materials uploaded by teaching staff. The pilot covered 71 courses and about 2,400 students, and the agent will expand to 100 more courses in the first semester of the 2026/27 academic year.
