Implementing the Transparency in Frontier AI Act Report for the California Department of Technology Multistakeholder Workshops | Stanford HAI
In this paper, Rob Reich of Stanford HAI and Deirdre K. Mulligan of UC Berkeley give the California Department of Technology concrete recommendations for implementing its frontier AI transparency requirements. The report synthesizes two workshops held on August 12 and 13, 2026, meant to gather diverse stakeholder input for the CDT's first annual report under the Transparency in Frontier AI Act. The recommendations are the authors' alone.
