A diagram of one new prostate cancer paper in four stages. Data: age-standardized mortality-to-incidence ratios for 185 countries in GLOBOCAN 2022. Method: CatBoost with SHAP, linked to 11 health system indicators, with missing values handled without imputation. Results: strong prediction, R² = 0.80 and Pearson correlation = 0.89. Implication: radiotherapy, universal health coverage and national wealth were linked to lower ratios, while aggregate spending alone was weaker. The design is ecological and hypothesis-generating.
