The Ibaraki prefectural board of education introduced AI interviews this fiscal year for the first-round selection in public recruitment of principals for prefectural combined junior-senior high schools, secondary schools and high schools. The aim is to draw out the strengths of candidates with varied backgrounds, such as work experience in private companies.
