Alibaba medical AI identifies 146 conditions from CT images at specialist-level accuracy

Alibaba Group's research institute DAMO Academy developed the general-purpose medical imaging AI DAMO RADAR with the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and others. It can identify more than 146 types of conditions at once from contrast-enhanced abdominal CT. It is described as the first general-purpose medical imaging AI to reach specialist-level accuracy.
