AI Drafts With Doctor Oversight Showed Quality Gains in Pilot Trial

A pilot randomized trial at Kyoto University Hospital tested a workflow in which clinicians review drafts generated by large language models. It found that the workflow improved most expert-rated quality domains for discharge summaries.
