Apple Changes App Store Age Ratings: Dating and Romance Apps Rated 18+, Including AI Romantic Companions

Apple announced on November 2 that it is adding questions on location sharing and dating/romance to the App Store age rating questionnaire. Responses become mandatory from November 16, and matchmaking apps and AI romantic companions will be rated at least 18+. All apps must submit responses by January 12, 2027.
