AI adoption puts 2.2 million Thai workers at risk of job loss, TDRI estimates unemployment at 3.66%

The Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) published an analysis that about 2.2 million Thai workers face the risk of losing their jobs due to the spread of artificial intelligence. This is 5.6% of all employed people and covers more than 50 occupations. The findings were presented at the institute's annual public conference.
