KT to train retired staff as AI instructors, support education for elderly living alone

KT will train retired and former employees as AI instructors to provide generative AI education for elderly people living alone. A four-week pilot will begin on Nov. 6 with Seongnam City’s Single-Person Household Healing Space, for about 20 residents aged 60 to 69. It will be taught by 45 senior IT supporters, with nine additional instructors selected, and KT plans to expand the initiative nationwide.
