Google has announced research results for "AI-PPG-ACC-HTN," an AI system that detects hypertension using standard sensors in commercial smartwatches such as the Google Pixel Watch. These are the optical heart rate sensor and the accelerometer. The system analyzes pulse wave data from the optical sensor together with minute vibrations captured by the accelerometer.
