Brave faces US infringment, circumvention claims for AI copying from New York Times

The New York Times has filed copyright infringement and Digital Millennium Copyright Act claims against Brave Software. It accuses the company of playing a "central role" in copying and distributing its content to users and to other AI companies, including Anthropic, Perplexity, Mistral, xAI and Cohere.
