Parliamentary Panel To Tackle Social Media, AI, Cybersecurity

The Standing Committee on Information Technology will review 17 critical subjects during 2026-27, including social media regulation, AI safety, deepfakes, cybersecurity and the semiconductor ecosystem. The review aims to address growing concerns around digital platforms, AI misuse and infrastructure development.
