Fukuoka Bank introduces AI avatars and facial recognition at branch, plus contactless lockers for businesses

Fukuoka Bank, part of Fukuoka Financial Group, reopened its Kuromon branch in Fukuoka on the 20th after renovation. The branch has introduced an AI avatar to serve visitors and facial recognition devices for identity verification. It also has lockers for corporate customers that allow passbooks, cash and documents to be exchanged without face-to-face contact.
