Less Than Two Weeks After Launch, Society of Authors Withdraws from Global Ethical AI Charter

The UK's Society of Authors has withdrawn from the Charter of Ethical AI Use in the Creative Industries, which it helped launch less than two weeks ago. The withdrawal followed criticism from its own members. The Bookseller reports that members were emailed on October 21 to thank them for their feedback.
