Toda City Revises Its Own Generative AI Guidelines, Stressing Students' Thinking Process

The Toda City Board of Education in Saitama Prefecture began a trial run of Version 2.0 of its generative AI guidelines for education on October 1, 2026. The guidelines set standards for use in city elementary and junior high schools by grade and AI service. Based on the trial results, the board plans to revise them to Version 2.1 around December of the same year.
