EU Plans AI Literacy Certificates for Students as Technology Reshapes Education

The EU plans to introduce an AI literacy certificate for 15-year-olds by the 2027-2028 school year. It would teach how AI works, how to verify outputs and when to keep a distance. Brussels is also moving to limit teenagers' social media use.
