Maharashtra Sets Up 3 Panels To Monitor AI Projects, Approve Incentives & Subsidies

The Maharashtra government has formed three committees to implement its AI Policy 2026. A chief secretary-led steering panel will oversee strategy, an executive committee will approve incentives and subsidies, and a technical committee will assess proposals. Announced in Mumbai on October 28, the framework also includes an online portal to support AI adoption across departments.
